The Country Club Resort is an accommodation, casino and conference facility at prospect vale, a ten-minute drive from launceston CBD in the north of Tasmania. Among its attractions is a par-71, 18-hole, 6,065-metre non-members golf course which is open to the public every day of the week.

There are large bent-grass greens and wide fairways with plenty of water hazards, as you would expect for resort golf. Country Club golf course hs an automatic watering system. Players can choose to walk or ride and electric carts are available for hire.

Facilities at the golf course include a driving range and practice area and players are allowed access to the resort complex.

Like Barnbougle Dunes this golf course must be seen as one to visit and enjoy from time to time, rather than as a golf club to join as a local member.
